Heal U Juice Retreat Terms and Conditions

Terms

These terms and conditions form the basis of the agreement for you and no alteration to these conditions shall be effective unless expressly agreed to in writing by an authorised representative of Healthy Eating & Lifestyle.

Definitions

For clarity, we provide a definition for terms used within the agreement:

“we”, “our” and “us” means Healthy Eating & Lifestyle, including the Healthy Eating & Lifestyle retreat services.

“you” or “your” means the attendee/s registering for or attending the retreat.

“deposit” is the amount paid to secure the booking for a single, twin or couple registration.

“balance” is the amount owing, less the deposit paid.

Healthy Eating & Lifestyle Retreats

A Healthy Eating & Lifestyle retreat is designed by us and is often tailor-made specifically for you. It will combine at least one of the following elements:

  1. accommodation
  2. natural therapies
  3. physical activities
  4. juice and/or healthy food
  5. workshops; and,
  6. additional services that will form a significant part of your experience.

You must be at least 18 to attend the retreat.  If you are under the age of 18 you are not permitted to attend without a parent or guardian.

Deposits and payments

This form represents a registration agreement between You, the attendee/s, and Healthy Eating & Lifestyle, the event organiser, to attend the Healthy Eating & Lifestyle juice retreat.

The person registering authorises us to charge the registration fee of $995 per single or couple, to the nominated credit card (unless otherwise specified that the full prepayment is required) and is non-refundable.

Your booking is not confirmed until your deposit is received by Healthy Eating & Lifestyle. We shall hold your deposit payable towards the full cost of the retreat.

The balance is payable 30 days prior to the event start date. If booking are made within 30 days of the retreat start date, full payment is required at the time of the booking.

Please note that we retain the right to vary deposit amounts as we see appropriate. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.

All quoted prices are per person in Australian dollars and inclusive of GST unless specifically stated otherwise on the website, quotation, invoice or receipt.

The services sold are subject to availability and can be withdrawn without notice.

We accept PayPal, bank transfer and credit card payments via Visa or Mastercard.  If deposit payment is made by credit card, your credit card will automatically be charged the outstanding balance 30 days from the retreat date. If payment is made by bank transfer or PayPal, you will be issued an invoice for payment by the due date.

By making a payment of a deposit or full payment for any Healthy Eating & Lifestyle retreat, you are accepting Healthy Eating & Lifestyle retreats terms and conditions.

You are responsible to pay all extra services not included in the retreat package according to the payment policy of the company with whom you have procured the goods or service.

Cancellation policy

Refunds of deposits are only permitted within 10 days following the registration date and will be equal to the amount paid, less the retail value of any bonus products provided at the time of registration. Refund requests must be made in writing to: admin@healu.com.au. After 10 days, deposits are non-refundable but are transferable with a minimum of 30 days’ notice of the retreat start date to retreats on alternate dates within a 12-month period. Payments are transferable to another person for the original booking with the payment of a transfer fee of $100.

Cancellations of 10 or less days prior of the retreat start date will be entitled to a 50% refund of the balance payment. Cancellations >10 days of retreat start date will receive a full refund of the balance payment.

If Healthy Eating & Lifestyle cancels or changes a scheduled retreat date for any reason, excluding Force Majeure, you may transfer your full payment to another retreat date within 12-month period, pending availability. Healthy Eating & Lifestyle is not responsible for any expenses incurred by you as a result of the retreat cancellation or rescheduling.

Arrival policy

We provide clear arrival and departure instructions and details upon booking. If you arrive prior to the designated check in time we cannot guarantee your accommodation will be ready. Any late check out arrangements or extra night’s stay must be made directly with the accommodation facility.

Inclusions

Healthy Eating & Lifestyle reserves the right to change inclusions stated at the time of booking. You will be notified of any changes to inclusions at the commencement of the retreat and advised of alternate arrangements.

We will make every effort to ensure your included treatment is scheduled at a suitable time to optimise your enjoyment but we cannot guarantee your preferred time slot will be available.

If you do not arrive or arrive late for your booked treatment, we will not provide any refund on treatments not received.

Liability

Healthy Eating & Lifestyle has no liability for any travel arrangements you make to attend the retreat.

We cannot be responsible for the loss or damage of your luggage or personal possessions.

All daytime and night time activities and transportation organised for you by Healthy Eating & Lifestyle are undertaken at your own risk. We accept no responsibility or liability for any illness, personal injury or death caused to you or a fellow participant.

Our team are not medically trained. The information provided by Healthy Eating & Lifestyle team should not be considered as medical advice and participants are responsible for their health and wellbeing at all times.

If you are taking medications or have concerns about your physical or mental condition, please consult your doctor before attending the retreat. The information provided during the retreat is “informative only” and is based on our own personal knowledge, experience and opinion and should not replace medical advice.

Special Requests

Where special requests for room allocation, diet considerations etc are required, our team must be made aware of them in writing at the time of booking. Whilst every effort will be made to ensure that these requests are fulfilled, they cannot be guaranteed.

Data Use and Protection

By giving us your name and personal details, you consent for these to be used as necessary in processing your booking and complying with legal requirements. We may also use your details to send you future retreat brochures or advise of special offers from ourselves or other carefully selected companies. Should you NOT want to receive these, please tell us. Sensitive personal information that you give us will only be used when it is necessary for us to care for your wellbeing.

You agree that you may be photographed and/or filmed during your stay and/or activities in connection with the retreat, and you agree that Healthy Eating & Lifestyle may use this material for promotion and/or advertising without any prior consent. You may terminate this agreement at any time in written form via email and any material will not be used for marketing purposes.

Our websites and brochures

Photographs and illustrations and other promotional material are for promotional purposes only. They do not represent any benefit that will be included in any arrangements made for you. The descriptions and illustrations in any of our literature and websites are given as approximate representations only and given in good faith.

Our websites contain links to third party websites. These links are provided solely as a convenience to you and not as an endorsement by us of the contents on such third-party websites.

We are not responsible for the content of linked third-party sites and do not make any representations regarding the content or accuracy of materials on such third-party websites. If you decide to access linked third-party websites, you do so at your own risk.

Behaviour and participation

As an attendee of a Healthy Eating & Lifestyle retreat you are expected to respect your environment and other people around you. You must not behave in a way which may cause distress or annoyance to others or which may create the risk of danger or damage to property.

All suppliers have every right to terminate, without notice, your stay or activity under threat of vandalism, violence or any other behaviour deemed inappropriate by them. In such cases all insurances will be invalidated and you will not have any entitlement to a refund of any kind whatsoever.

By participating in any Workshop, you agree to the following:

  1. You will comply with directions and policies.
  2. You acknowledge that any type of exercise involves risk of injury which may result in death or serious disability.
  3. Despite such risk you agree that you participate entirely at your own risk of injury or bodily harm to yourself and others.
  4. You release Us and all of Our People and any other persons involved in your participation in any activity with Us from any action, claim, suit or demand for compensation whether for damage to property or personal injury arising from your participation.
  5. You understand that these terms are contractual and may be relied upon in any proceedings by or involving you and your heirs, executors and assigns.
  6. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about services we supply.
